President Message

Dear NASK Community Members,

Namaste !

Thank you very much for trusting me with the responsibility leading our Nepali community for this term. I have been deeply humbled by this responsibility and I pleased to work hand in hand with everyone to fulfill all our goals and commitments.

I am deeply honored to be a part of this great Nepali community that gave me the opportunity and the motivation to be involved in volunteerism for the Nepali society. I can not thank enough for this opportunity.

We have many challenges as well as opportunities for stronger collaboration to work towards fostering and preserving the Nepali language, customs, cultures and heritage that define our uniqueness. I feel very proud of being actively engaged in these movements to promote our Nepali identity. Celebrating festivals with family, friends and the Nepali community, sharing the value of life, cultures and traditions within our own community and collaborating with other communities, helping preserve our language, heritage and customs and transfer to the younger generations are things that I am very proud of. All this has been made possible because of the Nepal America Society of Kentucky (NASK).

I would like to thank all the past community leaders, members and visionaries who saw the need and established NASK as an organization that catered to the Nepali community. Without their vision it would not have been what it is Today.

We have a long way to go, building on the past achievements and learning from the mistakes. It is our organization, everyone of us in the community should feel the ownership of this organization. I do request all our Nepali community get their memberships, as our strength is in the number of our organizational memberships.

Let us come together and make NASK an example among other organizations. I know We can.

Thank You
